93 October 17, 1983 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS - No discussion. 7.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS Catherine Anderson, owner of Carpenter's, was present to inquire if Chapter 150 could be amended to allow for a 6:00 AM opening to serve breakfast. The ordinance now allows for 8:00 AM opening. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Clerk be directed to draft an ordinance amending Chapter 150 to allow for a 6:00 AM opening. All aye. Motion Carried. The city has not received the Letter of Credit as conditioned in the approval of the Special Use Permit issued to Robert Ricci for the multi-family dwelling. The permit holder had been notified of a 7:00 PM deadline, 10/17. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Clerk be directed to hand deliver a letter from the City Council to cease all construc- tion on the property owned by Mr. Robert Ricci, effective immediately, until such time as a sstisfactory Letter of Credit ($25,000) is deli- vered to the City of Hugo. Also, the Clerk is to deposit in the mail a copy of the same order to Mr. Ricci. All aye. Motion Carried. 9.0 ATTORNEY AND ENGINEER Mr. Johnson submitted his montly report. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Clerk be directed to notify by certified mail, the officer of the White Bear Rod and Gun Club who signed the Special Use Permit, enclosing copies of both letters from attorneys Hiniker and Malkerson, and to confirm, in writing, who is their attorney of record. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to amend the motion relative to the Special Meeting of November 2, 1983, to include, and other city business. All aye.
