Sibley stated that M. Gessner had told him that Lindsten had <br /> given the land to Oneka Township. <br /> Taxes are deliquent on property. <br /> LaValle said there was no record of the street listed in the road <br /> book and that no street sign had been erected, which signs were <br /> put up when City maintained road. LaValle also stated when he <br /> worked on road maintenance, he did not maintain that road. <br /> Council not questioning the signatures but do question whether <br /> City owns the road. C. Johnson said City could not accept a <br /> verbal agreement. <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, LaValle seconded, to accept (petition <br /> statement in letter) stating that City maintain road. <br /> VOTING FOR: None <br /> VOTING AGAINST: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith & Schletty. <br /> MOTION DENIED <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion to issue a statement stating that from <br /> testimoney heard, that the roads should be maintained by <br /> the City. <br /> MOTION DIED FOR A LACK OF SECOND <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to issue a <br /> statement certifying that there is a public access to <br /> Highway 61 via Sibley Street which is being maintained <br /> by private property owners who are effected by this <br /> driveway. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith & Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Clerks office instructed to issue statement stating same. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS: <br /> 6.1 Dog Ordinance - further revisions are to be made and the <br /> Ordinance Committee will review it again at their next <br /> meeting of April 30, 1975. <br /> 6.2 Subdivision corrections - Attorney wanted more time for <br /> review to be brought up at later meeting. <br /> 6.3 Zoning Amendment for Day Care Center. <br /> MOTION: Smith grade motion, seconded by Lease, to have a referral <br /> by Council to have Planning Commission amend zoning <br /> ordinance to add Day Nursery as an additional Special <br /> Use in Subd. J, to be included in Retail Business District <br />
