JUNE 16, 1975 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL `? <br /> TIME: 7:10 P.M. <br /> PRESENT: LaValle, Leroux and Schletty <br /> (LaValle was Acting Mayor until Mayor arrived) <br /> ABSENT: Lease and Smith <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux to <br /> approve the minutes of June 2, 1975. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Lem ux and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS: <br /> MOTION: Leroux made motion, seconded by LaValle to approve the <br /> General Claims of June 16, 1975. <br /> DISCUSSION: Leroux questioned Item Number 5, Great Plains Gas <br /> at a cost of $70.41 . After discussion, it was being <br /> questioned if the Old Village Hall is being heated. <br /> Chief Barth stated it was warm whenever he entered <br /> the building. Windows had been blown out during the <br /> last storm. Council directed the Clerks office to <br /> contact the Gas Company and have them drain the tank <br /> of gas and no further delivery would be necessary. <br /> In discussing the Old Village Hall it was also brought <br /> up the security lite has been burnt out for some three <br /> months, as stated by Chief Barth, The Clerks office <br /> is to check on this as the Council wants the security <br /> light lit at all times. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Leroux made motion, seconded by LaValle to approve the <br /> Utility Claims of June 16, 1975. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS. REQUESTS. COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 RUBY DANIELSON, SPRING COMPANY — INGERSOLL ROAD <br /> Ms Danielson, realtor, is selling 5.6 acres of land for Mr. <br /> Reynolds. She asked whether the City of Hugo would be interested <br /> in purchasing part of the property for roadwork on Ingersoll <br /> Avenue. Council stated that Reynolds was asked to give part of <br /> the property to the City for completion of the road some years <br /> ago and that he would never come into an areement with the City. <br /> The zoning on the property is RR 2 (5acres5. If Reynolds would <br /> five the City 661 of land, the Council would grant a Variance for <br /> a one three acre plat. Ms Danielson will confer with Reynolds as <br /> she would like to see the road taken care of before selling <br /> +'ha n-nnno-►+iv <br />
