AUGUST 4, 1975 MINUTES OFTTHE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL w. <br /> TIME: 7:11 P.M. <br /> PRESENT: Lease, Leroux, Smith and Schletty. <br /> Attorney Johnson and Engineer Kuusisto <br /> ABSENT FOR ROLL CALL: LaValle <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, Smith seconded, to approve minutes <br /> of July 21 , 1975 as corrected. <br /> The minutes from July 21 under paragraph 3.0 should <br /> have said minutes approved as corrected. Schletty <br /> stated that he voted against paragraph 5.2 - Zinschlag <br /> tennis court. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Smith and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS: <br /> GENERAL CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, Smith seconded, to approve General <br /> Claims of August 4, 1975. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Smith and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> UTILITY CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, Schletty seconded, to approve utility <br /> bills. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Smith and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUEST, COMMUNICATIONS AND LICENSES: <br /> 5.1 WHITE BEAR ROD & GUN CLUB LICENSES <br /> Kurt Sparks from Minnesota Pollution Control Agency discussed <br /> PCA's current status regarding the White Bear Rod and Gun Club. <br /> PCA felt lead shot had significant potential to pollute the <br /> waters and they want a reclaim system. The agency intends to send <br /> a letter to the White Bear Rod and Gun Club with a permit appli- <br /> cation and request plans and specifications from them. The <br /> PCA will look at the petition submitted and assess the system <br /> and then issue a permit to White Bear Rod and Gun Club if it <br /> meets their requirements. The agency is staffed with lawyers <br /> from the Attorney Generals office and they will enforce viola- <br /> tions of PCA standards. <br />
