AUGUST 18, 1975 ' .. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, Smith seconded to grant an <br /> extension of time to the Pioneet Club on their <br /> Nuisance Abate Notice to September 2, 1975. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle,Leroux and Smith <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.3 AXELSON REGARDING GUN CLUBS <br /> Mrs. Axelson stated that ohe Gun Club created enough <br /> noise on one grounds and resented that the White Bear <br /> Rod and Gun Club could shoot also at the Bald Eagle Gun <br /> Club. Stated her husband works nights and finds it <br /> difficult to sleep while the shooting is going on during <br /> the day. <br /> Bob Salchow from the Bald Eagle Gun Club said that the <br /> 6-8 teams that are shooting at their Club are invited <br /> guests that this is their way of generating income to <br /> their Club. These teams are a small percentage of the <br /> teams that shoot at the White Bear Rod & Gun Club, namely <br /> 80 to 100 teams. The teams were invited to complete their <br /> shooting season and therefore the situation is only temporary. <br /> LaValle said the Club is grandfathered in and that no <br /> Permit is issued to the Club from the City so conditions <br /> have not been set by the City. <br /> S. Chapman did not like the increase in shooting would <br /> rather see it decrease. He also stated that in charging <br /> guests the Club was becomming Commercial and it is suppose <br /> to be non—profit. <br /> Jim Kindsvater, from White Bear Rod & Gun Club, resented <br /> the teams being labeled White Bear Rod & Gun Club as <br /> these teams could be representing any other Club and <br /> probably would not have any problem. <br /> Smith read letter from Mrs. Lindquist registering complaint <br /> against Gun Club noise. <br /> T. Peltier questioned whether the Club was selling beer. <br /> Answer was no. Questioned whether beer could be on <br /> premises. Answer was no. Stated whe would like one <br /> complete day without shooting. <br /> Lease asked Bob Salchow if he would talk to S. Chapman <br /> regarding limiting the hours of shooting at the Club. He <br /> said he would. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS: <br /> Lease asked Clerks office what procedures were necessary <br /> to change Voting Place for Ward 2. Clerks office to check. <br /> 8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> DELAYED CONNECTION CHARGE FOR SEWER <br /> A fee of Three Hundred Dollars shall be paid at the time <br />
