REQUEST, COMMUNICATIONS AND LICENSES: <br /> 5.1 ROBERT BARTH POLICE CHIEF - HIRING <br /> Chief Barth introduced two mean to the Council, <br /> James W. Bradbury, White Bear Lake and Michael <br /> C. Gressman of Lino Lakes, who he wanted to <br /> hire for one or two nights a week as patrolman <br /> In recent months two men have left the department. <br /> and these two new men will complete his department. <br /> MOTION: Smith made motion, Leroux seconded to hire two <br /> new part-time patrolmen, James W. Bradbury and <br /> Michael C. Gressman at a fee which has been <br /> established for and budgeted by the Police <br /> Department. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle,Leroux, Smith and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.4 WILLIAM M. PAVEI{ - SPECIAL USE PERMIT - RE: FENCING <br /> Mr. Pavek requested approval of a fence approximately <br /> 518" high and extending 80' along Ingersoll Avenue to <br /> be taken down during wester so as not to interfere with <br /> snow plowing. <br /> The Planning Commission recommended the following <br /> four conditions: <br /> 1 . The cross members of the fence may be placed only <br /> from the first of May through the first of November <br /> of each year. <br />
