MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.4 MORRIS CARLSON REGARDIL'G SEWER ISTALLERS <br /> Carlson questioned need for $25,000bond by both sewer <br /> installer and plumber-felt amount was excessive compared to <br /> other communities-Lease said no considering Hugo's high <br /> water table-attorney stated bond is necessary for plumber <br /> and also for sewer installer if working on city right <br /> of way-Engineer said installer should remain bonded even if <br /> only working on City right of way periodically. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> 6.1 BLOOMINGTON REQUESTING SUPPORT OF CONTINUATION OF SPORT <br /> FACILITIES FOR PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL AND FOOTBALL WITHIN <br /> CITY OF BLOOMINGTON. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to pass <br /> Resolution #76-42, resolving that the City of Hugo <br /> fully supports the resolution requesting the State <br /> Legislature to put any stadium proposal to a vote of <br /> our people. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. Attorney <br /> gave verbal report with written report to follow. Attorney's <br /> opinion that if new roadway is generated there would have to <br /> be subdivision compliance regardless of who pays for roadway- <br /> there have been no REC charges assessed against property so <br /> REC charges would have to be determined by size and use of <br /> structures in addition to the assessment on the property. <br /> Doesn't feel Peloquin would have to subdivide if no new roadway <br /> is created.
