Former chief stated the <br /> glass door in fire hall is not holding when opened and <br /> would the City consider purchasing a new one. <br /> 7.1 ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> Re: Eugene Peltier sewer system - Engineer not in agreement <br /> with Washington County Planner. He feels system is inadequate <br /> and should have larger installation. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, Lease seconded, to have City <br /> Engineer contact William Schwab, Washingtion County <br /> Planner and get together to resolve the problem. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith, and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 9.0 MISCELLANEOUS <br /> 9.1 CLERK <br /> Presented 1575 Financial Statement to Council <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, Leroux seconded, to post the <br /> financial report in the following three prominent <br /> places: Hugo Bank, Post Office and City Hall. <br /> VOTINGFOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Smith, and Schletty. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, Schletty seconded, to approve the <br /> change Order No. 2 (Section #2) Ro-So Construction, <br /> Incorporated, in the amount of $1 ,323.13, for 1975 <br /> Street and storm sewer improvements. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, Schletty seconded to approve the <br /> application for George Koland's enrollmint in Wastewater <br /> Operator's Institute, March 24-26th, 1976 at the <br /> Thunderbird Motel for a fee of $35.00 plus the $5.00 <br /> for taking the exam and reimbursement for mileage at <br /> 150 per mile. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, Leroux seconded, to correct the <br /> claims of March 15 adding "26 Metro Waste Control <br /> Commission, $1 ,386.00 to General and change #5 in <br /> Utility to $1 ,030.86. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle, made motion, Schletty seconded to extend <br /> meeting beyond 11 :00 P.M. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> SUNSET LAKE <br /> LaValle sugggested March 23 as a proposed meeting date with <br /> the Rice Creek Watershed District Board and Minnesota Pollution <br /> Control Agency at the Arden Hills office, updating them on <br /> Hugo's progress in resolving the drainage problems on Sunset <br /> Lake. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, Schetty seconded to issue a <br /> nuisance abate notice to Mr. Melvin Strand notifying <br /> him that he is in violation of Hugo's nuisance ordinance <br /> and that he has ten (10) days to resolve his problem <br /> and appear before the City Council at a special meeting <br /> to be held on March 29, 1976 at 7:00 P.M. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Leroux, Schletty, and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
