432 MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to have clerk <br /> send letter to Joseph Gregoire, 7600 165th Street to inform <br /> him he has not met with the conditions of his mobile home <br /> permit and he has ten days to get the approval of the build- <br /> ing inspector for his on-site sewer system or get the trail- <br /> er out. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schletty, and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Re: Eugene Peltier-One extra sewage unit is required. Present system <br /> doesn't conform. Present drainfields are not spread out-needs more <br /> square footage, and extra tank. Kuusisto will send plans to building <br /> inspector and E. Peltier will be informed what to do to meet standards. <br /> 6.6 FIRE CHIEF <br /> Re: Fire wardens: Ordinance needs amending then burning permits <br /> will be made up-need fire warden in Withrow area-told old wardens <br /> could temporarily be sworn in to issue permits-new permits should <br /> be made out in triplicate-one copy each for fire warden, applicant <br /> and city clerk. $1 .00 fee for obtaining burning permit. Fee to be <br /> fire warden's salary. <br /> Fire department requested additional air tank. Would like to pur- <br /> chase air tank for fire hall. Now have three tanks-feel they need fourth <br /> as they aren't getting the pressure they need-also need radio on one <br /> of the trucks and don't have a radio in the jeep. Ordered a base <br /> station with money from sale of C:B's and money made at smoker. Also <br /> would like to sign a service contract with Motorola for all maintenance <br /> including base station for $300.00 per year. Also would eventually <br /> like to &et pagers for all people in the department - would like to <br /> get six lagers now at cost of $1890.00. LaValle said City doesn't <br /> have money at this time to buy pagers or radio. Olson told to bring <br /> in proposal for the Motorola service contract. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, Leroux seconded, to set the rate for <br /> fighting railroad fires tit the rate of $250.00 per hour for <br /> the year 1976. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schletty, and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Leroux, authorizing fire <br /> department to purchase one air tank. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, ,Schletty, and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.7 POLICE CHIEF <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, Smith seconded, to accept the Police <br /> Report for March, 1976. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schletty, and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.8 ATTORNEY <br /> Will meet with Horton and his attorney next week-nothing from Robert <br /> Ricci on the storm sewer easement-attorney to notify Mr. Ricci that <br /> if he desires to hook-up to the storm sewer, he can hook up to the <br /> stub in the street at his expense. Regarding Cinterville reserve <br /> capacity-received letter that it will not affect Hugo's reserve cap- <br /> acity. Rice Creek is checking into whole drainage plan at Evergreen <br /> Hills. <br /> MOTION: Smith made motion, seconded by Schletty, to direct City <br /> Attorney to seek legal action to stop White Bear Rod & Gun <br /> Club from using property until a new Special Use Permit and <br /> Occupancy permit is granted. <br /> VOTING FOR: Schletty and Smith. <br /> VOTING AGAINST: LaValle and Leroux. <br /> MOTION FAILED <br />
