Allay 3, 1976 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> TIME: 7:10 P.M. <br /> PRESENT: Lease, Leroux, Schletty and Smith <br /> ABSENT: LaValle. <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith to approve the <br /> minutes of the April 19, 1976 meeting. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Smith to delete the last <br /> six words of the motion made by Lease on page two, item <br /> five of the minutes of the March 15, 1976 meeting. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Schletty and Smith <br /> VOTING AGAINST: Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith, to approve the <br /> minutes of the April 5, 1976 meeting. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Leroux made motion, seconded by Smith to approve the <br /> General Claims of May 3, 1976. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Leroux made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the <br /> Utility Claims of May 3, 1976. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS. REQUESTS. COMMUNICATIONS AND LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Leroux - Letter of Resignation <br /> Lease read letter of resignation from Mr. James Leroux, who is <br /> resigning from the Planning Commission effective immediately <br /> because he hasn't sufficient time to devote to it. <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Schletty, to accept the <br /> resignation of Mr. James Leroux, from the Planning Comm- <br /> ission, effective immediately. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Clerk instructed to send letter to Mr. Leroux thanking him for <br /> his services. <br /> WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION <br /> Mayor Lease read invitation from White Bear Township, for their <br /> 118th birthday celebration; on Turesday, May 11 , 1976, from 7-10 pm <br /> at the Town Hall. <br /> 5.1 NOACK - JUNK YARD LICENSE RENEWAL <br /> MOTION: Motion made by Schletty, seconded by Leroux, to grant <br /> renewal of a Junk Yard License to Leonard M. Noack, <br /> 16615 Forest Boulevard North, for one year. <br /> VOTING FOR. Lease, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.2 LaMotte - Mobile Home Petition <br /> Lease said no action will be taken by the Council now on the peti- <br /> tion of William I,aMotte to move a second mobile home onto their pro- <br /> perty at the M.R. Trailer Camp. Turned the matter back to the Plann- <br /> ing Commission and asked City Attorney and Engineer to have report <br /> ready for next Planning Commission meeting. <br />
