. . . . <br /> ( 1 ) Ditches shall have a four foot wide flat bottom placed <br /> within road right-of-way limits. <br /> (2) The minimum ditch depth shall be 2. 5 feet below the <br /> edge of the road shoulder and in-slope intersection <br /> points. <br /> (3) The maximum ditch in-slope shall be 4: 1 . <br /> (4) The maximum ditch back-slope shall be 2: 1 . <br /> ( 5) The longitudinal ditch slopes shall be a minimum of <br /> one percent ( 1%) and a maximum of six percent (6%) . <br /> (6) Street cross sections are required at fifty foot <br /> intervals, with street right-of-way indicated on all <br /> cross section plans. <br /> (7) All trees and brush shall be cleared and grubbed <br /> within the road right-of-way limits. <br /> Subd . G. Drainage <br /> ( 1 ) The minimum size of a culvert crossing through the <br /> roadway section shall be 18 inches in diameter. <br /> (2) All culverts shall be constructed with reinforced <br /> concrete (RCP) with R-4 joints. RCP aprons are <br /> required on all culverts. <br /> (3) Culvert aprons shall include trash guards which are <br /> hot dipped galvanized after fabrication . <br /> (4) MNDOT Standard Class 3 rip-rap is required on both <br /> inlet and outlet ends of centerline culverts. <br /> ( 5) The minimum quantity of Class 3 rip-rap on culvert <br /> aprons shall be in accordance with MNDOT standard <br /> plate 31338. <br /> (6) Surface water runoff from the ends of concrete gutters <br /> into ditch bottoms shall be provided by means of four <br /> inch thick concrete swales meeting MNDOT standards for <br /> concrete curb and gutter. <br />
