. . . <br /> ( 12) Corner radii at street intersections shall be not less <br /> than 20 feet. <br /> ( 13) Corner radii at the approach to the turnaround portion <br /> of cul-de-sacs shall be not less than 20 feet. <br /> Subd . E. Urban Design . Streets constructed or reconstructed in the <br /> City ' s Single Family Estate, Single Family Unit, <br /> Concentrated business, retail business, and limited <br /> business, and Industry zoning districts, and in other areas <br /> where the housing density is one home per acre or more, <br /> shall be of urban design in accordance with exhibits A, B <br /> and C. The following special conditions shall apply : <br /> ( 1 ) Concrete curb and gutter shall be MNDOT design 8-618, <br /> unless surmountable type D-412 is approved by the City <br /> Engineer. <br /> (2) Sidewalks, where required , shall be MNDOT 2521 <br /> concrete four inches thick with Class 5 aggregate <br /> base, and comply with MNDOT standard plate 70353 . <br /> (3) Sidewalk widths shall conform to the following table: <br /> Classification Width <br /> Single family area 5 feet <br /> Multiple family area & <br /> public building sites 6 feet <br /> Commercial areas 10 feet <br /> Industrial areas 6 feet <br /> (4) Sidewalk cross slope shall be 1/4 inch per foot, <br /> draining toward the street curb. <br /> ( 5) Sidewalk profile grades shall not exceed eight percent <br /> (8%) . <br /> (6) Sidewalk pedestrian ramps shall be installed at all <br /> street intersections in accordance with MNDOT standard <br /> plate 7035D and the Americans With Disability Act <br /> guidelines. <br /> (7) Street cross sections shall be provided at 50 foot <br /> intervals. <br /> (8) Storm sewer shall be reinforced concrete pipe with R-4 <br /> Joints. <br /> Subd . F. . Streets constructed in the City ' s <br /> Agricultural , Rural Residential and Conservancy zoning <br /> districts, and in other areas where housing density is less <br /> than one unit per acre, shall be of rural design in <br /> accordance with exhibits D, E and F.
