_ <br /> A r �� <br /> ( 5) All legal setback requirements from: existing and <br /> proposed buildings; property lines; Sewage Tanks; Soil <br /> Treatment Systems; water supply wells, buried water and <br /> utility lines; the Ordinary High Water Mark of lakes, <br /> rivers, streams, flowages, or other bodies of surface <br /> water; and the location of all existing Sewage <br /> Treatment Systems and water supply wells on adjoining <br /> Lots within one hundred ( 100) feet of the proposed Soil <br /> Treatment System. <br /> (6) Surface water flooding probability. <br /> 403.02' Soil Testing. Applicants for Sewage Treatment System <br /> permits will be required to submit soil test data derived from soil <br /> borings and Percolation Tests for each proposed site or installation . <br /> 403.03. Conduct of Tests. All testing shall be conducted in <br /> accordance with the requirements of this Ordinance and shall be done <br /> by qualified personnel , certified under the MPCA training and <br /> certification program. <br /> Exception : Testing may be done by any individual on a lot <br /> proposed for his personal residenee -or-presently occupied by <br /> him. Any such testing which results in data which is <br /> inconsistent with actual soil conditions may be rejected by <br /> the Zoning Administrator and professional testing required . <br /> 403.04. Soil Borings. At a minimum, four (4) satisfactory soil <br /> borings per site shall be made, outlining the perimeter of a minimum <br /> area of five thousand (5,000) square feet per lot for a permit <br /> application . Larger areas may be required where conditions of use, <br /> soils, topography or vegetation require. Soil borings shall be made <br /> as follows: <br /> ( 1 ) Borings shall be by auger or excavation and shall be <br /> staked and protected until notification that field <br /> evaluation has been completed . <br /> (2) Borings or excavations shall be made to a minimum depth <br /> of eight (8) feet below existing or proposed grade, or <br /> until bedrock or watertable is encountered , whichever <br /> is less. <br /> (3) A soil texture description shall be recorded by depth <br /> and notations made where texture changes occur. <br /> (4) Particular effort shall be made to determine the <br /> highest known water table or zone of periodic <br /> saturation by observation and recording the first <br /> occurrence of mottling in the soil , or if mottling is <br /> not encountered , the open holes in clay or loam soils <br /> shall be observed after standing undisturbed a minimum <br /> of sixteen ( 16) hours, at which time, depth to standing <br /> water, if present, shall be measured . <br /> 10 <br /> 2 <br /> A <br />
