Whenever inspection of pump stations, distribution �� ` <br /> devices, valve or drop boxes indicates the accumulation of solids � <br /> ' | <br /> such device shall be promptly cleaned . For existing systems having one or more Seepage Pits or <br /> drywells as part of the system, annual inspection shall be made as <br /> follows: <br /> ( 1 ) Between the date of May 1 and June 30 each year, the <br /> depth of liquid in each Seepage Pit or Drywell shall be <br /> measured . <br /> (2) When such measurement indicates a liquid level one ( 1 ) <br /> foot or less below the inlet ' invert, a second <br /> measurement shall be made eight (8) to twelve ( 12) <br /> hours after the first measurement, during which time no <br /> discharge of liquid to the tank is permitted . <br /> (3) When the second measurement indicates a drop in liquid <br /> level of less than two (2) feet during the indicated <br /> period of time, the system shall be considered <br /> inadequate. <br />. (4) The owner shall be responsible to provide adequate <br /> expansion or replacement of any Soil Treatment System <br />� <br /> found to be inadequate as a result of (3) above. . <br /> 601 .07' Pumping of Sewage Tanks and other components of Sewage <br /> Treatment Systems shall be performed only by contractors licensed by <br /> the City of Hugo or Washington County to provide such services. <br /> 601 .08. Septage shall be disposed of only by approved means as <br /> follows: <br /> ( 1 ) Where practicable, into a municipal Sewage treatment <br /> system. <br /> (2) When municipal facilities are not available, at a land <br /> disposal site approved by the Zoning Administrator' <br /> (3) In no case shall Septage be discharged to any body of <br /> water or to the ground surface at locations which have <br /> not been approved for surface application . <br /> 301 .09.
