If the terms of the permit are <br /> violated,or if the City Engineer determines that continuance of a driveway access <br /> is particularly hazardous,the City Council may require revision.of the access. <br /> 82-11.USE OF RIGHT-OF-WAY LIMITED.No part of the right-of-way of a city <br /> street may be used for servicing of vehicles or the conduct of private business. <br /> 82.12 ACCESS CONTROL-DUAL DRIVEWAYS.The area between driveways <br /> for the same property shall be so constructed or improved that traffic on the high- <br /> way and on the property will in fact be separated. In platted areas where a <br /> sidewalk extends to the property line,a curb is required at least four(4)inches <br /> wide and four(4)inches high above the sidewalk along the inside edge of the lot <br /> line and extending for at least the full distance of the sidewalk.Where no sidewalk <br /> exists,this traffic separation may be obtained by the planting of a hedge or the <br /> construction of an island.Such an island or planting can only be placed on the <br /> right-of-way under permit from the City. <br /> 82.13 VARIANCE.A variance from the standards set forth in this regulation may <br /> be allowed by the City Council when the variance will facilitate,the safe,efficient <br /> use of the property for a lawful purpose and will not interfere with the construc- <br /> tion,maintenance or safe and efficient use of the street and its appurtenances by <br /> the public. <br />
