Motion carried. <br /> Yellow Ribbon Network Report <br /> Council Member Chuck Haas and Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the Yellow <br /> Ribbon Network activities held recently. The Hugo YRN received approval as a 501C from the <br /> IRS. A family needed car repairs and North Town Auto assisted with the YRN paying for it. <br /> Plans are underway for the 11 t annual Welcome Home Pheasant Hunt for 120 soldiers on <br /> Saturday and another 50-60 on Sunday. A packing event is scheduled for October 31', and <br /> donations are being accepted. The next Hamburger night is Wednesday, October 28,and the <br /> Hugo Area Business Association will be the sponsor. <br /> Schedule Active Shooter Training Workshop for Monday.October 26.2015 <br /> At the annual Goal Setting Workshop on January 28,2015,Council identified evaluation of <br /> security at City Buildings as a goal for 2015. Sergeant Wayne Johnson has invited Deputy Mike <br /> Petrey to provide active shooter training on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 6p.m. After the <br /> presentation,Council could discuss whether this training should be offered to employees, <br /> commissions or boards, and decide if there are other measures that should be evaluated by staff. <br /> Miron made motion, Klein seconded,to schedule Active shooter training on October 26,2015 at <br /> 6 p.m. as a meeting of the Hugo City Council. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> jgislative Reception on Thursday.November 19.2015 <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council that the White Bear Area Chamber was hosting <br /> a Legislative Reception on Thursday,November 19, 2015 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Hmong House <br /> in North St. Paul. Co-sponsors of the event are the Hmong Chamber of Commerce,Vadnais <br /> Heights Economic Development Corporation,and the Hugo Area Business Association. The <br /> event is free but RSVP's are required. <br /> Schedule City Holiday Party for Thursday.December 10.2015 <br /> Annually,the City of Hugo selects a date on which to hold the City of Hugo's annual holiday <br /> party for Council, Commission,and City staff. The Hugo American Legion banquet room is <br /> available on Thursday, December 10,2015. <br /> Haas made motion, Miron seconded,to schedule the City's Annual Holiday Party for Thursday, <br /> December 10, 2015 beginning with social hour at 5:30 p.m. and dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m. <br /> All Ayes.
