JULY 19, 1976 77 <br /> ENGINEER <br /> Vail 2nd and 3rd Addition - Estimates blacktopping, adding 20% for <br /> contingencies, would be approximately $15,000 to $20, 000 for a 24' <br /> mat with bituminous surface from the beginning of the second addition <br /> to the end of the third addition. Roadway through the first addition <br /> was not required to be blacktopped; people in that addition would <br /> have to be assessed for any improvement proposed there. Bond expires <br /> October 15th. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to have City <br /> Attorney draft a letter to send to the bonding company <br /> notifying them that the obligation of Mr. Vail has not <br /> been met and we are not calling in the bond at this time, <br /> but are questioning the status of it. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Homestead Avenue - ditches to be cleaned - George Koland to begin <br /> removing of trees first. <br /> ATTORNEY <br /> Norm Horton - Clerk instructed to furnish City Attorney with copy <br /> of signature page of Horton's special use permit; then he will dismiss <br /> the lawsuit. <br /> METERING STATION - Clerk instructed to try to locate missing meter- <br /> ing station; have George Koland install it with the help of the <br /> manufacturers instructions. <br /> 10.0 ADJOURNMENT <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to adjourn the <br /> meeting at 9:59 P.M. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 1-71 <br /> Carol A.
