LaValle cautioned Winter that the City would not approve the install- <br /> ation of the electric or telephone lines until after the water line <br /> has been installed. LaValle said water main is to be installed 7i' <br /> below the road grade. LaValle asked Engineer how long it would take <br /> for his men to stake the road and set the grades. Engineer said <br /> about a half a day. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schietty, to have the <br /> City Engineer stake the road and set the grades on the <br /> entire section of the road to be constructed by Shepherd <br /> of the Fields Lut:_zeran Church and Vern Pe ioquih, due to <br /> the fact that it is on the present City sanitary sewer <br /> easement and the City is concerned with the design of the <br /> road. <br /> SUNSET LAKE <br /> Report received from Geo Technical Engineering regarding bids on <br /> Sunset Lake property - to be held until a later date - Another bid <br /> to be received from Twin City Testing, according to Engineer. <br /> 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> WORK BiLeBaIJ1'10E PROGRAM <br /> MOTION: Smith made motion, seconded by Leroux, to extend the Work <br /> Experience Program for Patrick Cunningham from six weeks <br /> to nine weeks. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schietty, and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> REZONING REQUESTS <br /> Planning Commission has requested action to be taken on the fifteen <br /> requests for rezoning that were named in the minutes of the proceed- <br /> ings of the special meeting held 12/30/74; applications to be pro- <br /> cessed without fee. Committee appointed consisted of Marvin LaValle, <br /> Robert Waller and Robert Rosenquist. LaValle asked to be removed <br /> from the Committee. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to remove himself <br /> from the Committee appointed to study the fifteen requests <br /> for rezoning that were named in the minutes of the proceed- <br /> ings of the special meeting held December 30, 1974. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Smith and Leroux. <br /> ABSTAINED: Fichletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Smith made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the fifteen <br /> individuals named in the Special Meeting of December 30, <br /> 1974, on the subject of rezoning, be referred to the Hugo <br /> Planning Commission for their action. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, Schietty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> BUDGET <br /> Clerk instructed to send letter to Police Chief Barth, Fire Chief <br /> Olson, City Attorney and Engineer, and H. Schletty, to begin working <br /> on their proposed budgets to be ready for Budget Meeting in October. <br /> Clerk also to prepare budget for Clerk's office. LaValle would like <br /> to schedule a special meeting with Bob Ehlers to see what kind of <br /> fiscal program can be assembled to solve the road situation. <br /> USE OF CITY LAVATORIES <br /> Clerk reported Lions Club has been granting use of their facilities <br /> to groups for picnics and these groups have been requesting use of <br /> City Hall lavatories - would like policy decision made regarding <br /> use of these facilities. Clerk instructed to send letter to Lion's <br /> Club informing them the City will not furnish restroom facilities <br /> for any functions in the City Park. <br />
