Ott AUGUST 16, 1976 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL TIPS: 7:10 P.M. PRESENT: Lease, LaValle, Schletty and Smith. ABSENT: Leroux. 3.0 APPROVAL ON MINUTES MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the minutes of the August 2, 1976 meeting after adding the words, "payments, a loan of six months" on page seven. VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty and Smith. MOTION CARRIED 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the General Claims of August 16, 1976 after deleting Item #4 and after adding $5,765.14, payment to Washington County Highway Department for the months of May, June, and July, 1976. VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty and Smith. MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith, to approve the Utility Claims of August 16, 1976. VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty and Smith. MOTION CARRIED 5.0 PETITIONS. REQUESTS. COMMUNICATIONS AND LICENSES RESIGNATION -• DEPUTY CLERK MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to accept the resignation of Mary Jane Babcock, Deputy Clerk, effective September 15, 1976. Clerk instructed to advertise for a replacement. VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty and Smith. MOTION CARRIED DENNIS BURDICK - SPECIAL USE PERMIT Matter tabled until second meeting in September per applicants request, to give him time to discuss matter with his attorney. Clerk instructed to notify Burdick he is on the agenda for the September 20, 1976 meeting. MICHAEL PETERSON - 1 .1 Acre lot in Biesang Addition Michael Peterson, who has paid earnest money on a 1 .1 acre lot in the Biesang Addition, appeared to determine whether or not a building permit could be issued on that parcel. Council informed him that it is an unbuildable lot due to it's size. ALDINE ANDERSON - Refund of Rezoning Fee MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith, to refund $50.00 rezoning fee paid by Aldine Anderson, who was one of the fifteen persons who requested rezoning prior to the adop- tion of the new zoning ordinance on December 30, 1974. He made a new request and paid the $50.00 fee on July 6, 1976, and subsequently learned that the cost for surveying was prohibitive and withdrew his application. VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty and Smith. MOTION CARRIED 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES 6.1 SANITARY SEWER DISPOSAL ORDINANCE City Attorney distributed copies of the new Sanitary Sewer Disposal Ordinance. Council will study and take action on it at the next meeting. Building Inspector instructed to review and make his re- commendations at the next meeting.
