AUGUST 16, 1976 pp '' <br /> Clerk reported that a representative of the Estate of Mark Jones,o <br /> owner of the Hugo Post Office, has requested a sewer stub to their <br /> property, or they will consider a legal action. Council referred <br /> matter to the City Engineer to get an estimate. <br /> Letter received from Police Chief Barth requesting September 7, 8, <br /> 9, 10, and 13th as vacation time. Council gave approval. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to have Water <br /> Superintendent order a new fire hydrant to replace the one <br /> broken on 145th Street; cost of hydrantand installation <br /> costs to be submitted to insured's insurance company for <br /> payment. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> BIESANG ROAD <br /> Re: Road Easement - City Attorney advised City should determine <br /> whether other parcels have mortgages on them. If so, mortgage re- <br /> leases are necessary. Attorney io contact either NcDermaid or Biesang <br /> to determine how they want to detrmine how they want to proceed. <br /> MORRIS JESPERSON - Site Plan Approval <br /> Building Inspector told to check with Jesperson to see if he placed <br /> his storage building at least 88 feet from the road. <br /> CRITERIA FOR FARM SITE PLAN <br /> hliaingInspector reported he doesn't feel that a property owner who <br /> owns ten acres and one hor3e constituites a farm operation. Attorney <br /> Johnson said that contrary to popular opinion, and according to law, <br /> a building permit would not be necessary; perc tests are still necessary <br /> and an application for an on-site sewer system would also be necessary. <br /> Attorney Johnson said he thought possibly we should get an opinion <br /> from the Attorney General. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Smith, to have Attorney <br /> Johnson get an opinion from the Attorney General's office <br /> regarding what constitutes agriculture for building permit <br /> purposes. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, LaValle, Schletty and Smith. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to adjourn the <br /> meeting at 10:40 P.M. <br /> Carol A.
