OCTOBER 4, 1976 1 09 <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle,and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Leroux to grant a license.: <br /> for the collection of garbage and rubbish to Suburban Pick- <br /> up Service, Inc. , for a fee of $50.00 under Chapter 120 of <br /> the Hugo City Code. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The �-aobile home permit for Joe Zaspel was presented for consideration <br /> for a three month renewal. <br /> MOTION: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee <br /> The septic ordinance changes are being made at the office of City <br /> Attorney, Mr. Charles Johnson. Ordinance should be ready for next <br /> City Council meeting, October 18, 1976. <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission <br /> Thirteen rezoning requests were taken up at the September 22, 1976, <br /> meeting. Eight requests were decided on, and they will be acted on <br /> at the next City Council meeting, October 18, 1976. <br /> 6.3 Tater Superintendent - No discussion. <br /> 6.4 Sewer Committee <br /> Some citizens appealing their storm sewer assessment. People have <br /> until October 21 , 1976, to make their appeal. Adjustments can be <br /> made. Mayor will be checking into the matter. <br /> 6.5 Building Inspector <br /> Submitted his written report. Mr. Crever inquired again as to tile <br /> status of City Attorney's, Mr. Johnson, investigation as to 10 acre <br /> agricultural property not requiring a building permit. Mr. Johnson <br /> discussed the matter with the State and the matter is still rather <br /> vague. He will now check with Mr. Bill Schwab. Mayor Don Lease in- <br /> structed Mr. Crever to issue building permits. Mr. Crever will be <br /> out of town from approximately October 14 through the 22nd. If any <br /> problems arise, Mr. Lyle Doerr, County Building Inspector, is to be <br /> contacted at 439-3220, Ext. 317, 318. <br /> 6.6 Fire Chief - No discussion. <br /> 6 .7 ^].i ce Chief. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Smith, to approve Robert <br /> Barth's attending the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension <br /> Intermediate Command Course to be held October 4 to 8 at <br /> the Highway Training Center in New Brighton. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.8 Attorney <br /> Mr. Johnson submitted his written report. Secretary requested to <br /> obtain a copy of the Vail contract from Schifsky. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Lease, to file on the <br /> Vail Bond. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
