OCTOBER 4, 1976 1 09 VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle,and Leroux MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Leroux to grant a license.: for the collection of garbage and rubbish to Suburban Pick- up Service, Inc. , for a fee of $50.00 under Chapter 120 of the Hugo City Code. VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux MOTION CARRIED The �-aobile home permit for Joe Zaspel was presented for consideration for a three month renewal. MOTION: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux MOTION CARRIED 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES 6.1 Ordinance Committee The septic ordinance changes are being made at the office of City Attorney, Mr. Charles Johnson. Ordinance should be ready for next City Council meeting, October 18, 1976. 6.2 Planning Commission Thirteen rezoning requests were taken up at the September 22, 1976, meeting. Eight requests were decided on, and they will be acted on at the next City Council meeting, October 18, 1976. 6.3 Tater Superintendent - No discussion. 6.4 Sewer Committee Some citizens appealing their storm sewer assessment. People have until October 21 , 1976, to make their appeal. Adjustments can be made. Mayor will be checking into the matter. 6.5 Building Inspector Submitted his written report. Mr. Crever inquired again as to tile status of City Attorney's, Mr. Johnson, investigation as to 10 acre agricultural property not requiring a building permit. Mr. Johnson discussed the matter with the State and the matter is still rather vague. He will now check with Mr. Bill Schwab. Mayor Don Lease in- structed Mr. Crever to issue building permits. Mr. Crever will be out of town from approximately October 14 through the 22nd. If any problems arise, Mr. Lyle Doerr, County Building Inspector, is to be contacted at 439-3220, Ext. 317, 318. 6.6 Fire Chief - No discussion. 6 .7 ^].i ce Chief. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Smith, to approve Robert Barth's attending the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Intermediate Command Course to be held October 4 to 8 at the Highway Training Center in New Brighton. VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux MOTION CARRIED 6.8 Attorney Mr. Johnson submitted his written report. Secretary requested to obtain a copy of the Vail contract from Schifsky. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Lease, to file on the Vail Bond. VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux MOTION CARRIED
