DECEMBER 6, 1976 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCI� n, I <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schietty, LaValle, and Lerous 101 <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith, that the <br /> following licenses be issued to PAUL'S PIZZA: <br /> Cigarettes and Soft Drink in the amount of $6.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schietty, LaValle, and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The license approval of TRAEGER'S and Stan Lynn's WITHROW JUNCTION <br /> was tabled until the City Council meeting of December 20, All their <br /> papers were not in order. <br /> Due to a typographical error, CARPENTER'S should be reimbursed $10.00 <br /> The pool table license is $5.00 and not $15.00 as stated. <br /> 5.2 BILL HAYS - MOBILE HOME PETITION <br /> Mr. Hays did not appear again. A building permit has been issued to Mr. <br /> Hays for a dwelling and a pole barn, however, he rias failed to appear <br /> before the council for the Mobile Home Permit. Tabled (Dec. 20) . <br /> 5.3 LITTLE LAMB'S PRESCHOOL - SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br /> Jim Olson, Hugo Fire Chief, and the state fire marshall have gone through <br /> the building. However, at the time of the City Council, Mr. Olson had <br /> failed to submit a written report with his approval or denial. Mrs. June <br /> Smith stated that most day care centers in Washington County had a maximum <br /> number of 29 children, and an unlimited number of teachers or volunteers. <br /> She stated that if number held at 26, 916 Vo-Tech would not be able to <br /> send students there for training. LaValle agrees that instructors should not <br /> be included just go by the number of children. <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith, to approve the <br /> Special Use Permit for Little Lamb's Preschool at <br /> Shepherd of the Fields Church with the following <br /> limitations: <br /> 1 . Maximum number of chilren not to exceed 29. <br /> 2. Preschool to meet the fire codes for the City of <br /> Hugo and the State of Minnesota. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schietty, LaValle, and Leroux. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.5 JOSEPH GREGOIRE - RENEW MOBILE HOME PERMIT <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by LaValle, to approve the <br /> renewal of the Mobile Home Permit for Joseph Gregoire <br /> for a period of 3 months, under Chapter 40, Article III, <br /> Subdivision D. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schietty, LaValle, and Leroux. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> .5.4 GEORGE JUNGBLUT - PRELIMINARY PLAN (SUBDIVISION) <br /> Mr. Jungblut and Mr. Stanley presented a revised preliminary plan for <br /> the council's reviewal. City Engineer, Howard Kuusisto, summarized his <br /> written report as presented to the Planning Commission. Lease recommended <br /> to Mr. Jungblut to check with Rice Creek in regards to his subdivision. <br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by LaValle, to approve the <br /> Preliminary Plan for subdivision as submitted by George <br /> Jungblut, subject to the following: <br /> 1 . That Outlots C andJ shall be left in unimproved <br /> state until Outlots H and I are developed, at <br /> which time Outlot J shall be improved to appro- <br /> priate road standards, and Outlot C shall be so <br /> improved as to provide only walking access to <br /> the Lake. <br /> 2. Additional surface drainage and utility easement <br /> should be shown on back lot, Blocks 1 and 2. <br /> 3. Proof of ownership. <br />
