He should be instructed to <br /> attend the meeting of Wednesday, December 8. <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent - No discussion <br /> 6.4 Sewer Committee <br /> Marvin LaValle to meet with Metro Waste Control Commission in regards <br /> to our bill for 1977. <br /> 6.5 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Crever submitted written report. EPA located in the Bald Eagle <br /> Industrial Park, contacted Mr. Crever stating that Mr. Ken Tschida <br /> has not fulfilled the contract with them. LaValle instructed Mr. <br /> Crever to investigate the situation and report to the City Council. <br /> 6.6 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.7 Police Chief <br /> Police Chief Robert Barth applied for vacation, dated to include <br /> December 23, 27, 28, 29, and 30 to be deducted from annual earned <br /> vacation. City Council has no objection. <br /> 6.8 Attorney <br /> Mr. Johnson submitted his written report. The Manuel Peloquin road <br /> is now ready for reprocessing. <br /> Mr. Johnson reviewed the mutual aid agreement with Forest Lake. Should <br /> have matter ready for next meeting. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Lease, that 177th <br /> Street from Greystone to Highway 61 be taken over for <br /> winter maintenance. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.9 Engineer <br /> Jim Muggs' bond for $10,000.00 can be reduced at this time. A letter <br /> should be sent to Mr. Muggs to have him post a bond in the amount of <br /> $2,000.00 to protect the city during the construction stage of the <br /> homes. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Lease, to send letter <br /> to Jim Muggs requesting a $2,000.00 bond for 1977 for <br /> 177th Street to protect the city during the construction <br /> stage of the homes. <br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 7.0 Clerk <br /> There will be a meeting with Shafer Construction at 10:00 AM, <br /> Dacember 7, at City Hall to finalize the road project. <br /> A letter from Al Ebeling, Hugo Fire Department, was read regarding <br /> the fire siren. They made a motion recommending that the City <br /> Council make the decision as to if one of the soundings should be <br /> eliminated. They stated that the alarm has to be sounded at least <br /> once a day. <br />
