Mayor LaValle will contact Jerry <br /> Hughes to get name of person to be contacted. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> 7-t-47 -Water and Sewer <br /> New ordinances were proposed to amend the present ordinances to make them <br /> uniform and easier to work with, and the setting up of a Utility Fund to <br /> replace two separate Water. and Sewer Revenue Accounts. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, second by Spitzer, to adopt Ordinance No. <br /> 1977-1409 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 262 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE, ENTITLED <br /> "SEWER WMTEM" TO CLARIFY THE DESIGNATION OF DESIGNATED FUNDS, with the add- <br /> ition to the last sentence - Sanitary Sewer System and Water System in tke <br /> City of Hugo. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTIO14 CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to adopt Ordinance No. <br /> 1977-141, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 314 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE, <br /> ENTITLED, "WATER SYSTEM" TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF WATER <br /> RATES BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND TO PROVIDE FOR SPECIFIC <br /> DESIGNATION OF WATER REVENUE FUNDS, with the following changes: <br /> 1. "314-18. WATER RATES line 8 - should be changed to two business <br /> or family dwelling units <br /> 2. Last sentence of 314-20 should read - maintenance of the Sewer <br /> System and Water System in the City of Hugo. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to adopt Resolution No. <br /> 1977-1, A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING UTILITY RATES FOR SANITARY SEWER <br /> USE, AND WATER USE IN THE CITY OF HUGO AS REQUIRED BY CITY CODE <br /> CHAPTERS 262 AND 314. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr, Burkard, Water Superintendent, stated the Ground Water Report was com- <br /> pleted. Hugo pumped 28,454,500 gallons of water in 1976. <br /> McCarthy Well checked Hugo's water facilities, and everything is in good <br /> condition.
