J.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> 2 <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City Council <br /> adopt RESOLUTION 1977-4, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DISPATCH AND <br /> USE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL OUTSIDE THE CITY <br /> LIMITS. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTION CARRIED <br /> 8.0 uirr•.uu.bucw BUSINESS <br /> 8.1 BOB BARTH — RESERVE PROGRAM <br /> A letter was received from the Beulke Agency reaffirming the price of in— <br /> �: fgpitaer ma a motion, sedonded by Vail, that the matter of the re— <br /> serve program be tabled until the next City Council meeting, April <br /> 18, 1977. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr. Schletty stated that there is problem with the request for the placement <br /> of lights on 170th Street and Highway 61. A break—away pole is going to be <br /> needed. Schletty contabted the Highway Department and is waiting a reply <br /> from them. <br /> 9.0 NEW miJoi SS <br /> Mr. & Mrs. Stromen were present to voice a complaint against Will Riopel, <br /> stating that Mr. Riopel brings in garbage for his pigs, and he supposedly <br /> burns trash. LaValle suggested that the Stromen's submit a written complaint <br /> to the city, and it will be acted upon at that time. <br /> Spitzer prepared the schedule for the bi-'weekly pay period, which is start— <br /> ing this month. Mr. Bernier stated that he was going to have trouble with <br /> the new system, because he was not able to come in during business hours. <br /> Mr. Spitzer is to provide a schedule for Mr. Bernier, indicating the dates <br /> he is to appear at City Hall to sign the payroll checks. <br /> Mr. Irsfeld indicated he has received complaints from citizens regarding <br /> cats in the city proper. He would like the ordinance committee to consider <br /> the cad problem while working on the dog ordinance. He also received calls <br /> regarding the possible installation of lights on 148th and Freeland. Howard <br /> is to check out with NSP and report later. <br /> Mayor LaValle asked that a letter be sent to Jim Smith thanking him for the <br /> new gavel. <br /> A letter received from Richard Hill regarding the proposed landfill is to <br /> be recorded and filed. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail to adjourn at 10:00 P.M. <br /> ALL AYE.
