MAY 2, 1977 <br /> 39 <br /> Virgil Ekbom, heating inspector, stated that Hugo's heating permit was obsolete. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Clerk be <br /> authorized to secure the necessary heating application for the <br /> heating inspector. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr. Harvey Carmen has contacted the City of Hugo inquiring as to whether the city <br /> would be interested in establishing a counseling program as provided by Washington <br /> County Human Services. Program would be available to all city employees and provide <br /> a number of different services. Dan Spitzer will investigate. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that a special meeting re— <br /> garding the systems statement, be held on May 10, 1977, at 8:00 P.M. <br /> Planning Commission and City Council members to attend, along with <br /> Carl Dale, Howard Kuusisto, and Charles Johnson. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Howard Schletty discussed the James Johnson land purchase, with Mr. Lundblad who <br /> owned the property. Mr. Johnson has not paid anything on the land for two years, <br /> and the matter is now in the courts. <br /> Mayor LaValle inquired as•..to what can be done to solve the problem on all the old <br /> tires lying in Horton's junkyard. Charles Johnson will advise. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to adjourn at 10:45 P.M. <br /> All aye. Motion carried. <br /> a <br /> Carol A.
