<br /> The public hearing regarding the vacating of the easement was called to order at 7:02
<br /> P.M. by acting Mayor, Dan Spitzer. Clerk read the official notice of the hearing.
<br /> Sarah Mardell was present as attorney for Thomas Clark. A petition had been pre—
<br /> sented with a majority of signatures to approve the vacating of the easement. Mr.
<br /> Clark purchased 32 acres, and owns all the land abutting the easement on the south.
<br /> Howard Kuusisto advised that the request be approved. The public hearing was closed
<br /> at 7:10 P.M.
<br /> The regular City Council meeting was called to order at 7:11 PM, by acting Mayor,
<br /> Dan Spitzer.

<br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to arr....,.a the minutes of May
<br /> 2, 1977, after the following changes have been made:
<br /> Page 3, 1st. paragraph — Mr. LaValle will try to set up a meeting
<br /> with Mr. Johnson, and Irsfeld will accompany him.
<br /> Page 4 (Resolution 1977-5) — correct spelling to be REMUNERATION
<br /> Page 5 — install signs at Ivan Avenue North and 122nd Street North
<br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail.

<br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the minutes of May
<br /> 10, 1977, as presented.

<br /> of May 16, 1977, as presented.

<br /> of May 16, 1977, as presented.

<br /> 5.0 PETITIONS. REQUESTS. COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES
<br /> 5.1 Bramstedt Complaint Result
<br /> Robert Barth submitted a report stating that Mr. Dale Palmer is in violation of the
<br /> City Code. He had six unlicensed vehicles on his premises.
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Council direct
<br /> the Chief of Police to issue an abatement notice to Mr. Dale Palmer
<br /> because of violation of City Code. Police to deliver the notice and
<br /> follow-.up within 14 days to see if vehicles are removed.
<br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail.

<br /> 5.2 Fence Complaint
<br /> Matter tabled until the next regular meeting, June 6, 1977.
<br /> 5.3 Neil Buschmann Complaint
<br /> Mr. Buschmann claims he has only two unlicensed vehicles on his premises. Howard Schletty
<br /> will check on and report at the meeting of June 6, 1977.
<br /> 5.4 George Jungblut — Subdivision
<br /> Mr. Roy Stanley presented the final plat to the City Council for their approval. The
<br /> Planning Commission approved the final plat on May 11, 1977. Spitzer requested that
<br /> the folloting be made part of the minutes: For the purpose of the calculation of the
<br /> parkland assessment, the plat as submitted, with the specific exception of Outlots H,
<br /> I, and J, will be considered it is estimated for this purpose that the amount of
<br /> platted land is 7.2 acres.
<br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the final plat of George
<br /> Jungblut, Lake Estates, be accepted as submitted. Park land dedication
<br /> of $720.00, including the covenants as submitted.
<br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail.
