,1 Y 16, 1977 • . Schletty received a bid from LaValle Excavating for summer maintenance for blading the roads $19.50 per hour for man and vehicle. Their price is very similar to price from Washington County. Schletty directed to find out from Tom LaValle what he would contract for road maintenance for 12 months, and contact Charles Swanson to find out if they would be interested in a part-time maintenance contract for the winter months. Spitzer stated that the City of Hugo is eligible to participate in the Employees Assistance Program. All we have to do is inform them that we are interested, and they will contact the supervisory personnel. MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, that the City of Hugo participate in the Employees Assistance Program. VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTION CARRIED The city received a notice of condemnation proceeding from the Metro Waste Control Commission to be held on June 1, 1977. Attorney Johnson had somedifficulty deter- mining the legal description as stated. He will contact the MWCC to find out exactly what they mean. Mr. Johnson will appear at the proceeding if he feels it is necessary. The clerk stated that there are residents in Hugo who have not as yet hooked up to the sanitary sewer, nor paid their SAC charge. MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, to direct the City Clerk to send a certified letter to people who have not hooked up to sanitary • sewer. They will have 30 days to pay the SAC charge, and pull a permit for installation of the sewer or will be fined for violation of the ordinance. VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail.
