<br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:04 PM by Mayor LaValle.
<br /> PRESENT: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail.
<br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the minutes of
<br /> July 5, 1977, after the following changes have been made:
<br /> Page 3 - Michael Jensen hired from July 5, 1977
<br /> Page 4 - 6.7) set 1,z resolution
<br /> Page 4 - (6.8) preliminary elevations have been made
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the general
<br /> claims of July 18, 1977, with the addition of Item 4 - water revenue
<br /> $6,000.00.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by LaValle, to approve the utility
<br /> claims of July 18, 1977, as presented.

<br /> 5.0 PETITIONS. REQUESTS. COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES
<br /> 5.1 Thomas Hollihan — Petition for Mobile Home Petition
<br /> Farm Site Plan
<br /> Mr. Hollihan is going to take over the farming of the homestead, and would like
<br /> to have a mobile home for his mother to live in. A public hearing will have to be
<br /> held, along with the names of property owners within 300' of the property in question.
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by LaValle, that a public hearing be
<br /> set for a Mobile Home Petition as requested by Thomas Hollihan, on
<br /> August 1, 1977, at 7:30 PM, Hollihan to supply property owner names
<br /> within 300' of property in question.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> Mrs. Hollihan presented a farm site plan for a new machinery shed.
<br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the Farm Site Plan for
<br /> Thomas Hollihan be approved for the new machinery shed, 54' x 90'.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail

<br /> 5.2.James Johnson — Mobile Home Renewal
<br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to renew the Mobile Home
<br /> Permit for James Johnson, 7194 - 132nd Street, under Chapter 40,
<br /> Article III, Subdivision D, for 90 days.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> 5.3 William Hopkins — Liquor License Transfer
<br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the Off Sale Intoxicating
<br /> Liquor License, $41.65, On Sale Intoxicating Liquor License, $625.00,
<br /> On Sale Sunday Liquor License, $83.35, Cigarette License, $6.00, Soft
<br /> Drink License, $5.00, and Billiard License, $5.00, Be granted to William
<br /> R. and Thomas C. Hopkins, 14777 Forest Boulevard, on the condition that
<br /> sale is consummated on August 1, 1977.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle., Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail

<br /> 5.4 Fred Fulbright — Rezoninc
<br /> Mr. Fulbright is requesting the rezoning of approximately 15 acres from RB to SFE.
<br /> The Planning Commission's recommendation was to grant the rezoning along with Mr.
<br /> Pugh's property. The City Attorney advised that Mr. Pugh's property could not be in—
<br /> cluded in the rezoning request. It would have to be handled separately. It was deter—
<br /> mined that the legal description for the rezoning was not sufficient. Also, the Council
<br /> would like to see proof of ownership from Mr. Fulbright and Mr. Pugh.
