AUGUST 1, 1977 63 <br /> 5.9 Wayne Biorum — Subdivision <br /> The City Council approved the land division of Wayne Bjorum on October 1, 1973. <br /> Everything appears in order to sell Parcel "D". The clerk has approval to sign <br /> the transfer of the deed. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to table the Bjorum request <br /> for lack of relevance. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Irsfeld,and Vail <br /> VOTING AGAINST: LaValle <br /> ABSTAINED: Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The Public Hearing to consider the request for waterline extension on 147th Street <br /> was opened at 7:28 PM. Mayor LaValle read the notice as published. Engineer Kuusisto <br /> supplied a map of the area to be considered. Part of the affected area will be assessed to <br /> the property owner, avid part of the money will come from the city's water fund. <br /> Kuusisto broke down the payment as follows: <br /> $9.00/foot (739 ft) Property owners $6651.00 City $5849.00 <br /> 10.00/foot Property owners $7390.00 City 5110.00 <br /> Adjoining property owmers, Mrs. Ashby and Howard Moe, were present stating their <br /> objection to the extension. Both parties felt that they would not benefit from the <br /> extension, although LaValle stated the improvement would increase the value of their <br /> property. LaValle also stated that work would be done along side of the road, and not <br /> on private property. The Public Hearing was closed at 7:55 PM. <br /> The regular City Council meeting was called back to order at 7:56 PM. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the City Engineer <br /> advertise for bids on Project 1977-2, for waterline extension on 147th <br /> Street. Bids to be heard on September,6, 1977 at 7:30 PM. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee <br /> The Ordinance Committee presented two preliminary drafts of possible ordinances to <br /> Mr. Johnson for his review. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the ordinance pertaining <br /> to evacuation of liquor establishments be forwarded to the City <br /> Attorney for incorporation into city code. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
