6 MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, that the ordinance pertaining <br /> to unreasonable acceleration of motorized vehicles be forwarded to <br /> the City Attorney for incorporation into city code. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to adopt Ordinance 144, <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 40 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED <br /> "BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION" MODIFYING CERTAIN PERMIT FEES. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission <br /> The Commission Made a recommendation to the City Council that if after two presentations <br /> requested information is not provided, the applicant be denied further action for a *yiu— <br /> imum of one year. Mr. Johnson stated that this request would be difficult to follow <br /> considering there are so many things to consider in a subidivision and zoning request. <br /> If the information requested is not provided in other instauoes the Commission can <br /> recommend denial to the City Council. It was felt the Planning Commission has the <br /> necessary guidelines to handle the problem. <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent <br /> Mr. Burkard was present at the meeting informing the Council what activities the <br /> water department has been involved in. <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector <br /> Tom Crever presented his written report. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief <br /> Jim Olsen was present inquiring as to the status of the new fire maps. Howard Kuusisto <br /> stated he had them ready at the meeting. Mr. Olsen also requested permission to send <br /> a volunteer to regional school, and permission.. to purchase much needed first aid <br /> supplies. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the city direct the <br /> engineer to have one set of cronoflex copy of fire map made, and <br /> send cronoflex copy to City Hall, while retaining the orginal for <br /> his files. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to authorize the Fire <br /> Chief to purchase the necessary first aid supplies in an amount <br /> not to exceed $375.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
