7 2PTEMBER 6, 1977 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF TEN HUGO CITY COUNCIL The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:07 PM. PRESENT: LaValle Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the minutes of August 15, 1977, with the following change: Page 2 (5.3) item 1 — highway screen (delete one/double entry) VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to approve the general claims of September 6, 1977 as presented. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the utility claims of September 6, 1977 as presented. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail MOTION CARRIED 5.0 PETITIONS. REQUESTS. COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES 5.1 Fred FulbriRht — RezoninK Mr. Johnson, City Attorney, stated that he was satisfied with the proof of ownership presented. Mr. Fulbright is requesting the rezoning of approximately 142 acres from RB to SFE as indicated on Exhibit 3, on file at City Hall. MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, to amend the zoning ordinance, Chapter 320, and the zoning map as recommended by the Planning Commission, for the rezoning request of Fred Fulbright from RB to SFE (approximately 142 acres) with legal as follows, Ordinance 148* That part of the S20 acres of the Ni of NW4 of Sec. 29, T31N, R21W, in the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, lying East of Minnesota Trunk Highway No. 61, as now widened to 111ft., described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the North line of South 20 acres of the North 2 of NW4 of Sec. 29, with the East line of Minnesota Trunk Highway NO. 61; thence East along said North line of South 20 acres for 400 ft. to the point of beginning of this description; thence continuing East along said North line of 20 acres for 1370 ft. to the East line of NWW of Sec. 29; thence South along said East line of NW* for 488.2 ft; thence West and parallel with said North line of 20 acres for 1215 ft; thence North at right angle for 270.2 ft;
