OCTOBER 3, 1977 97 6.8 Engineer Engineer Kuusisto presented his monthly written report. Mr. Kuusisto checked on the haul route (152nd to Jeffrey) and noted that a considerable amount of work had been done on the road, but would like to see some additional material placed on the road. Mr. Kuusisto stated that at some time he would like to set a meeting to define the service area for the proposed sanitary sewer in the Bald Eagle Lake area. Matter to be considered at the City Council meeting of October 17, 1977. 6.9 Clerk Carl Dale submitted the recommended resolution that must be passed by the City Council to properly transmit the application for the Planning funds. The application forms must be submitted to the Washington County Planning Department by October 28, 1977. The city is applying for $2,700. 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS — No discussion 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 8.1 Budget 8.2 Audit Books MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to set a special meeting for Wednesday, October 5, 1977, at 7:00 PM, to work on the budget and to certify assessments. VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail MOTION CARRIED Mr. Sechrist, representing Horseshoe Lake residents, was recognized by Chairman Spitzer. He indicated that the majority of the people involved in the petition to Rice Creek were opposed to the project. A list of these people was provided for the city record. Spitzer stated that Rice Creek has the matter under advisement at this time. 9.0 NEW BUSINESS 9.1 Job description of clerk's office MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, that Mr. Spitzer and whomever he needs for assistance, proceed to develop a job description with guidelines for the d erk's office.
