9 6.0 Richard Busse — Continuation of Ingersoll Avenue through his property- <br /> Mr. <br /> ropertyMr. Busse has proposed that the City of Hugo purchase approximately 5.5 acres of land <br /> from him, at a cost of $18,000, to extend Ingersoll Avenue through his property. He <br /> would also like to receive permission to create a building site on 2 acres of his <br /> property. The land is presently zoned RRII (5 acres). Engineer Kuusisto stated that <br /> there was approximately 1000 feet of road to be constructed, and would require a con— <br /> siderable amount of work. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the Richard Busse <br /> matter be referred to City Engineer, Kuusisto. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> RECESSED 8:30 PM RECONVENED 8:40 PM <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee — No discussion. <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to direct the City <br /> Attorney to review the ordinace as to whether a Mining Permit <br /> does include a blacktop plant. Mr. Johnson to report results <br /> to the City Council and the Planning Commission. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent — No discussion. <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Tom Crever presented his monthly written report. He had inspected the Bald Eagle <br /> Sportsman Club and noted that there were two new trap houses. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, to direct the City <br /> Clerk to notify the Bald Eagle Sportsman Club to get on the <br /> Planning Commission agenda to review the terms and conditions <br /> of their Special Use Permit within a month. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief — No discussion <br /> 6,6 Police Chief <br /> Police Chief Barth presented his monthly written report along with his budget. He <br /> also made a survey of police calls made in rural and urban Hugo. The old Oneka <br /> Township received 63% of the calls. Spitzer informed Barth that Oak Shore Park should <br /> be considered in the urban area. <br />
