Mr. Barth stated <br /> that he felt the men were all qualified. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that we pay the part—time <br /> officers $3.50/hour. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.7 Attorney <br /> Mr. Johnson submitted his monthly report. He inquired es to the status of the Horseshoe <br /> Lake petition. LaValle said that Mr. Murray has to write an order to get the matter <br /> dismissed, which he is in the process of doing. Johnson has talked to Mr. Evans on the <br /> union matter for the purpose of setting up another meeting. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, setting a special <br /> meeting for December 14, 1977 at 5:30 PM to discuss the matter <br /> with Mr. Evans on labor negotiations. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.8 Engineer <br /> Mr. Kuusisto submitted his monthly report. Regarding the bridge replacement program, <br /> Mr. Kuusisto presented a preliminary plan view and elevation for discussion. The <br /> installation cost for the bridge program will range from $260 to $270 per lineal foot <br /> plus apron. The city will also be responsible for additional 'fill above 12", engineering <br /> fees, and demolition. The Highway Department will also want soil borings on each end of <br /> the bridge. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, directing the City <br /> Clerk to write a letter to Paul Johnson, Washington County <br /> Surveryor, asking him to establish the center line of 165th <br /> Street for the purpose of bridge replacement program. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, authorizing Howard Kuusisto <br /> to get soil borings in an amount not to exceed 1500.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> LaValle instructed attorney, Johnson, to contact Richard Busse's attorney stating <br /> that the City would like them to consider a Planned Unit Development in trying to <br /> resolve the extension of Ingersoll Avenue. <br /> 6.9 Clerk <br /> Mrs. Williams stated that Mr. Swan Anderson has taken care of his bill with the city, and <br />
