JANUARY 16, 1978 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL At) The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:09 PM. PRESENT: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld, and Vail. ABSENT: Schletty 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the minutes of January 3, 1978, after the following changes are made: Page 1 (changes in minutes of December 19, 1977 - the City of Hugo will not pay any settlement to Rice Creek Page 2 (Schmidty's Condition #1 ) - Curb or fencing shall be required to be installed in such a manner to prevent access or egress to the back area other than via the designated entrance Page 2 (Schmidty's Condition #3) - Blacktopping of said parking VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTION CARRIED 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to approve the general claims of January 16, 1978, as presented. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTION CARRIED • MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the utility claims of January 16, 1978, as presented. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld, and Vail. MOTION CARRIED 5.0 PETITIONS. REQUESTS. COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES 5.1 Raymond Olson - Mobile Home Renewal MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to renew the Mobile Home Permit for Raymond Olson, 7800 132nd Street North, under Chapter 40, Article III, for a period of 90 days. LaValle stated that the ordinance reads that a valid Building Permit has to be obtained before the issuance of a Mobile Home Permit. He felt the permit was issued in violation of the ordinance. Mr. Olson is to be informed via letter that he is to obtain a Building Permit for his home before the Mobile Home Permit will be renewed again.
