Mayor LaValle stated that the city would have to get <br /> some type of easement for Outlot A. Mr. Johnson stated there should be <br /> some kind of authority to (1 ) pursue details of the design, (2) determine <br /> if and when we have to go to Rice Creek, and (3) authorize further <br /> negotiations to get settlement reduced to writing. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, that City <br /> Engineer, Howard Kuusisto spent the amount of time necessary <br /> to work on the dike problem, and contact Rice Creek in re- <br /> gard to proper permits as needed. Mr. Johnson is to work <br /> on settlement agreement. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr. Johnson will work on necessary figures for a proposed response to Mr. <br /> Jack Frost, Metro Waste Control Commission, regarding Hugo's reserve <br /> capacity. <br /> Mr. Kuusisto will work on preliminary easements necessary to complete the <br /> 165th Street bridge replacement program. <br /> Northwestern Bell has requested permission to bury cable on 132nd Street. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City of <br /> Hugo approve Job #47432 to allow Northwestern Bell to bury <br /> telephone lines on 132nd Street. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Mr. Johnson presented the Council with a preliminary draft of the Grant <br /> Township Road Agreement. The matter will be discussed at the meeting of <br /> March 6, 1978. <br /> Mr. Kuusisto will give Mayor LaValle a call when he has more definite <br /> information regarding the installation of water on 148th Street. <br /> Mr. Ron Istanovich, Hugo Fire Dept. , was present requesting financial <br /> assistance to construct a radio room to eliminate noise from the fire <br /> trucks. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the Fire <br /> Department be authorized to provide the labor to build <br /> a radio room, 5' x 8' outside measurements. The city will <br /> provide materials for an amount not to exceed $100.00 <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Patrolman, John Jackson, submitted a letter stating there is an overflowing <br /> septic system on Everton Avenue. <br />
