APRIL 17, 1978 <br /> 149_ <br /> 5.8 Vern Peloquin - Minor Subdivision <br /> Mayor LaValle had spoken to Howard Kuusisto regarding the sewer service for <br /> this piece of land. Mr. Peloquin was informed that he could use 6" pipe and <br /> could tie the two lines together. Mr. Peloquin will contact Mr. Kuusisto as <br /> he proceeds with the project. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to approve the Minor <br /> Subdivision as submitted by Vern Peloquin for the Wi of NE+ <br /> of NW+ of NE4 of Section 20. Mr. Peloquin to be allowed to <br /> connect the sewer at his expense to the manhole on 148th and <br /> Geneva with a 6" lateral. The lateral design to be approved <br /> by the City Engineer. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.3 Stewart Bogart - Nuisance violation <br /> Mrs. Bogart contacted City Hall and stated that Inter-State Lumber purchased <br /> the home at 7607 128th Street, and that they are no longer responsible. Mr. <br /> Hiniker, attorney for Inter-State, stated that nothing would be done on the <br /> property for one year because the Bogart's have the option to purchase the <br /> property within that time. There was noone present at the meeting representir <br /> the Bogarts. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the City Clerk <br /> take the next step in the nuisance procedure to abate said <br /> nuisance. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to add $58.40 <br /> (sales tax) to the Utility Claims. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to adopt RESOLUTION <br /> 1978-26, A RESOLUTION INCLUDING HUGO IN THE SHADE TREE PROGRAM <br /> BUDGET FOR SANITATION AND REPLANTING OF TREES FOR THE CALENDAR <br /> YEAR 1978 AND THAT THE CITY SHARE OF SAID BUDGET IS AVAILABLE <br /> IN THE GENERAL FUND. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail. <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The draft of the subdivision ordinance was distributed. The Council is to <br /> review•and the matter will be discussed at the meeting of May 15, 1978. <br /> Mayor LaValle requested that the Ordinance Committee review the ordinance <br /> relating to the control of dogs in the city. <br /> 7.0 UNFINSHED BUSINESS <br />
