1978 <br />5.1LaValle Excavatingr - MininPer 1 mit <br />.Z <br />2-05 <br />MOTION, <br />Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty,. authorizing <br />renewal of the Mining Permit for LaValle Excavating until <br />June 30, 1079, after the updated bond and certificate of . <br />insurance is provided to the city. Also subject to the pre. <br />viously. stated conditions. <br />VOTING FOR: <br />ABSTAINED: <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />MOTION: <br />VOTING FOR: <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />Spitzer and Schletty <br />LaValle <br />LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the City of <br />Hugo retain Gilsdorf and Johnson as its legal couns6l. <br />LaValle, Spitzer, and Schletty <br />Attorney Johnson has been in contact with Harold Kimmel, attorney for Thomas <br />Kl*n,.f,7,, regarding the matter of their purchasing 26 acres from Perrault. They <br />worked out a simple contract stating that so long as they have a total of 26 <br />acres the city would go along with the usagb. If they lost access of the 14 <br />acres, they would only be allowed to retain a maxium of 12 horses owned or <br />boarded, The Kings' agreed with these conditions. The contract would run for <br />a term of seven years. <br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the attorni <br />be authorized to draw up a contract between Thomas King an( <br />the City of Hugo stating that so long as they have a total <br />of 26 acres, the city would go along with the usage. If <br />they lost access of the 14 acres, they-viwould be allowed to <br />retain only 12 horses owned or boarded on 12 acres. <br />VOTING FOR, LaValle, Spitzer, and Schletty <br />T40TION CARRIED <br />0 <br />MOTION* <br />VOTING FOR: <br />1-ri0TION CARRIED <br />LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, instructing <br />Howared Schletty to contact Washington County for removal <br />the illegal driveway at MR Tourist Camp, <br />LaValle, Spitzer, and Schletty. <br />Let the record whow that the Maintenance Supervisor has provided a report on <br />work being performed and an inventory of tools. <br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, to adjourn at <br />10 *o 5 3 P11. <br />All aye.
