DECEMBER 18, 1978 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL
<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:05 PM.
<br />PRESENT: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail
<br />3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br />MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to approve the
<br />minutes of December 4, 1978, after the following change
<br />has been made:
<br />Page 5 (Jim Smith) - contact Mr. Martin Zie_bell
<br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail
<br />MOTION CARRIED
<br />MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to approve the
<br />minutes of the Special Meeting of December 11, 1978, after
<br />the following changes have been made:
<br />Page 1 (Jim Wisner) - to maintain the lift stations
<br />- aaTtend schools necessary for certifi-
<br />cation
<br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail
<br />MOTION CARRIED
<br />4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS
<br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the Treasurer's
<br />salary for the year 1978 be set at $2,000.00. Addition to
<br />General Claims - George Bernier $400.00.
<br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail
<br />MOTION CARRIED
<br />MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the General
<br />Claims for December 18, 1978, be approved with the addition of:
<br />Item 25A - Howard Kuusisto 414,856.03 (prel sewer plan for
<br />Bald Eagle - Oakshore Park)
<br />Item 25B - Howard Kuusisto 0 2,239.45 (subdivision, streets,
<br />and roads)
<br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail
<br />MOTION CARRIED
<br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the
<br />Utility Claims for December 18, 1978, as presented.
<br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail
<br />MOTION CARRIED
<br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to rescind the
<br />motion of December 11, 1978, relating to Jim Wisner.
<br />VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Irsfeld and Vail
<br />VOTING AGAINST: LaValle
<br />ABSTAINED: Schletty
