DECEMBER189 1978 <br />Kuusisto met with Ken Tschida reganding the parking lot matter. He would like the <br />drainage to flow to the south and to the west along street on north side. Kuusisto <br />suggested that the letter of credit be extended so that Grace Development can accomplish <br />their grading in the spring. <br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the letter of credit <br />for parking lot in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park, in the amount of <br />$2,000.00, be called. The Mayor is authorized to accept on behalf of <br />the City Council, an extension -of the letter of credit provided the <br />extension is in hand o ' or before, December 28, 1978. Duration of <br />the extension is six (6) months. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />Letter of Credit — Sewer Lot 12, Block 1 <br />Mr. Tschida stated that the house was not occupied, and would be hooked up to sewer <br />when their extension is completed. He requested a 6 month extension. LaValle stated <br />that no one can move into the house until hooked up to sewer. <br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the letter of credit <br />for sewer extension to Lot 12, Block 1, Valley View Terrace, in the <br />amount of $2,500.001, be called. The Mayor is authorized to accept on <br />behalf of the City Council, an extension of the letter of credit, pro— <br />vided the extension is in hand on, or before, December 289 1978. Dur- <br />ation of extension is six months. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />The City Council has received a letter from Grace Development'.s attorney questioning <br />why the Council voided the water and sewer agreement with them. LaValle stated that <br />there was never an agreement, because all the conditions were not met. <br />MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by LaValle, that Mr. Johnson respond to <br />the letter from Mr. David Larson regarding the voiding of the water <br />and sewer agreement with Grace Development. A copy of the minutes of <br />December 4, 1978, to be forwarded. <br />Irsfeld withdrew his motion. <br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Clerk be in— <br />structed to send the appropriate copies of the minutes of December 4, <br />1978, to cover letter of transmittal, suggesting that nay further <br />questions be communicated to the city. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />Any extra charges on this matter will be charged against the agreement. <br />5.4 Report on Muga's Road — Letter of Credit <br />Kuusisto stated that one of the reasons for not relinquishing the letter of credit <br />is the problem with the culverts. He suggested that the letter of credit be extended, <br />and the road will again be reviewed in the spring. <br />MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the letter of credit for <br />the Muggs's road, Hardwood Creek Estates, in the amount of $2,000.00, <br />be called. The Mayor is authorized to accept on behalf of the City <br />Council, an extension of the letter of credit, provided the extension <br />is in hand on, or before, December 289 1978. Duration of the exten— <br />sion is six months. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />
