DECEMBER 189 1973 <br />5.6 Fred Benson - Special Use Permit <br />The city has received a letter from Xr. Hagerty, <br />financing has not been arranged for the project, <br />the letter of credit. Platter should be resolved <br />219.1 <br />Benson's attorney, stating <br />and they have not applied fo <br />within the next three months, <br />MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the request <br />to table action on the Special Use Permit for Fred Benson <br />for 90 days be granted. The City Clerk is directed to send <br />a letter to Mr. Benson., and his attorney, informing -them that <br />failure to comply by April 1, 1979, could result in possible <br />denial of the application. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />5.7 Vern Peloquin- Minor Subdivision <br />Mr. Peloquin has requested permission to subdivide 1.6 acres from a 3.4 acre Parcel in <br />the Peloquin Industrial Park. A certificate of survey is on file. The Planning Commiss- <br />ionreeomm4ended approval. <br />MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the request of Vern <br />Peloquin for a Minor Subdivision, to.subdivide 1.6 acres from a 3.4 acre <br />parcel located in the Peloquin Industrial Park, <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to amend the previous motion <br />directing the City Clerk and Planning Commission that a new plan for this <br />Industrial Park is to be submitted before any future •subdivision _of <br />that park is allowed. <br />VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />Mr. Johnson stated that there could be a problem in the Industrial Park, when and if, <br />a sewer assessment roll would have -bo be determined. He suggested that after a certain <br />percentage of the park is developed, a plat should be submitted for the entire piece <br />Of property. .Spitzer stated that this matter should be addressed by the Planning <br />Commission, and they are to be notified as such. <br />5,8 Mardon Homes - Subd1vi= <br />Mr. Tram was present, and stated that the road had been changed as requested. An old <br />preliminary plan was used for the concept approval. The red lines were incorporated by <br />the surveyor, and the green lines were incorporated by the city engineer. The new plan <br />has 10 lots instead of 9. There does not seem to be a safe alternate route for access <br />and egress to the property. In order to get the best building sites, the driveway of <br />9001 will be necessary. Irefeld noted that drainage into Long Lake had not been ad- <br />dressed. <br />MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the Mardon Homes Subdivision <br />be granted concept approval and that specific lot lines on a plan be sub- <br />mitted to the Planning Commission along with soil tests for Lot 39 Block <br />1. Other soils to be reviewed for each lot. <br />8uusisto stated that the septic systems should be installed as far from the water as <br />possible. Walle instructed Mr. Tram to submit a new, and more clear plan, of the <br />new outlines as approved. <br />VOTING FORS Laffalle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br />VOTING AGAINST: Irefeld <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />
