JANUARY 29 1979 5 MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the letters be referred to Howard Schletty and the Police Chief. Recommendations are to be made for the first meeting in February, 1979. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail INION CARRIED The Clerk requested permission to change the payroll to the lot and 15th rather than biweekly. It was determined that there would be a conflict with the union contract. The Clerk was instructed to recognize the Police Officer's anniversary date as an effective pay raise. j 3.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS ' No discussion 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 8.1 David Hunt - Sewer Violation MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to table the David Hunt matter until January 159 1979. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail LOTION CARRIED 8.2 Insvection Checklists Mr. Crew stated that he would like to see an Iten 5 added to the checklist - Certificabeof Occupancy issued for residential homes (Type I Classification). Spitzer stated that an enabling ordinance will have to be drafted so it can be enforced. Peter Kluegel, acting Heating Inspector, indicated that he thought the procedure would be ' beneficial. Plumbing Inspector, Bob Vadnais, made no response. MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Attorney be dir- ected to draft the appropriate ordinance for the Occupancy Permit, VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED Mr. Crever stated that a ditch was filled in at 12280 Goodview Avenue. The contractor stated that it would be corrected in the spring. MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the Building Inspector be authorized to accept an escrow fund of $1,000.00, on behalf of the city, in the form of a letter of credit or a cashier's check, for the purpose of completion of the driveway at 12280 Goodview Avenue. The Building Inspector is to notify K & E Builders to make arrangements with the City Clerk for the acceptance of the 51,000.00. This $19000.00 is to guarantee the completion of the driveway in accordance with the Driveway Permit no later than June 15, 1979. The City agrees that these conditions will be accepted in lieu of earlier completion of Driveway Ordinance.
