Lack of availability of funds. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> 6.1 Safe Deposit Box - Resolution 1979-43 <br /> MOTION: LaValle made, seconded by Irsfeld, to adopt RESOLUTION <br /> 1979-43, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF HUGO TO <br /> RENT A SAFE DEPOSIT BOX FROM THE FIRST STATE BANK OF <br /> HUGO. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 7.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to set the pay <br /> rate for general labor at $4.50/hour. The wage rate <br /> may be adjusted per incident by City Council action. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaV-11e, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CAflRIED <br /> 8.0 NEU BUSINESS <br /> 8.1 Opinion on Gun Club <br /> House File No. 51 has been introduced to amend 116.07 of the State <br /> Statutes. LaValle felt that the addition was a blanket statement <br /> and not correct. To date, no standards have been adopted by PCA <br /> regulating noise levels. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by LaValle, directing <br /> the City Clerk to draft a letter to our local repre- <br /> sentatives stating the city's objection to the vague <br /> wording of the proposed bill. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CAARRIED <br /> Mayor LaValle received a letter from Forest Lake Township requesting <br /> the city to review their Comprehensive Land Use, Plan. Copies are <br /> to be provided for the City Attorney and the City Engineer. <br />
