MARCH 5, 1979 29 <br /> 5.2 Regal Plastics - Site Plan Approval <br /> Vern Peloquin - Minor Subdivision <br /> LaValle asked Mr. Peloquin if Mr. Olson's property was included in <br /> his preliminary plat for Major Subdivision in the Industrial Park. <br /> Peloquin stated that Mr. Olson was willing to participate in the <br /> subdivision. A letter of credit in the amount of X5,000.00 to insure <br /> construction of Fur Avenue, and a temporary easement for access to <br /> IvMr. Olson's property are on file. Spitzer felt that it would be <br /> appropriate to place a time on the construction of the road, but <br /> LaValle disagreed stating that the road issue would be discussed <br /> when the Major Subdivision was handled. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to grant the <br /> Minor Subdivision for Mr. Vern Peloquin, subject to <br /> the letter of credit to insure the construction of <br /> Fur Avenue, and the execution of the contract between <br /> Peloquin, Richard Olson, and the City of Hugo, as ap- <br /> proved by the City Attorney. This parcel of land <br /> will be included in the subdivision which will be <br /> known as Peloquin Industrial Park. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br /> A drainage Plan for Regal Plastics was presented to Howard Kuusisto. <br /> The plan for this particular piece of property met with approval <br /> from Kuusisto, but he stated that a drainage plan for the entire <br /> subdivision will have to be submitted. Mr. Olson's architect was <br /> present, and stated that if financing can be arranged, a masonry <br /> type building would be constructed, otherwise, it will be insulated <br /> steel. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the <br /> Site Plan for Richard Olson, as submitted. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> LaValle asked if a variance from the blacktopped parking lot was <br /> submitted. McAllister stated that the Site Plan was approved with <br /> the understanding that the parking lot would be crushed limestone. <br /> Mr. Olson is to be informed that a variance request would be. in <br /> order, and the 40' canopy, as shown on the plan, would have to meet <br /> the 40' setback requirement. <br /> 5.3 Richard Genrich - Special Use Permit <br /> The request before the Council was to operate, maintain, and store <br /> a split wood supply on 105 acres of land along Goodview Avenue. <br /> There was some question as to whether this type of operation could <br /> be permitted in the Agriculture zone. McAllister, Planning Commission <br /> member, stated that the application was denied because Mr. Zimmerman <br />
