iO MARCH 5, 1979 Richard Genrich - Con't felt that he could not live with the limitations as far as growth of his business. These restrictions would have possibly been a part of the permit. The required public hearing was held, and local residents voiced their opposition to the business because of possible damage to the roads, and the local residential area. The land is not conducive to onsite septic systems for home sites, and some Council members felt that the business would be a good use of the 105 acres. LaValle stated that he would like to see more information regarding this request. MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to table the request of Richard Genrich, and direct the City Clerk to contact Mr. Genrich requesting that he appear before the City Council at his earliest convenience. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail MOTION CARRIED 6.0 Reports of Officers & Committees 6.1 Ordinance Committee MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the Sign Ordinance, as amended, be considered for adop- tion on the meeting of March 19, 1979. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Vail MOTION CARRIED 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion 6.3 Water Superintendent - No discussion 6.4 Building Inspector Mr. Crever presented his monthly report. He stated that he had inspected Schmidty's 61 Club, and the exit door has been installed as requested. The Bogart property was also inspected, and clean-up procedures have been initiated. 6.5 Fire Chief Ron Istvanovich, Fire Chief, was present, and stated that the grass-fire truck needed to be replaced. A definite cost figure was not submitted. LaValle stated that the Fire Chief should look at what other capital expenditures could be expected by the department to generate this information. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, authorizing the Fire Chief to purchase a light water inductor for a price not to exceed 4200.00.
