Minutes of the Proceedings of the Hugo City Council Meeting 37 of APRIL 2, 1979 The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:02 PM. PRESENT: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail 3.0 APPROVAL OF MI1UTES MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to approve the minutes of March 19, 1979, as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld a?:c MOTION CARRIED 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the General Claims of April 2, 1979, as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the Utility Claims of April 2, 1979, as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS AND LICENSES. ' ,5.1 Joe Niemczvk - Renewal of Mobile Home Permit MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that Mr. Joe Niemczyk' s Mobile Home Permit at 7666 170th Street N. , be extended for 90 days, inder Chapter 40, Article III, Subdivision D. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED .2 Richard Genrich - Special Use Permit Genrich and Zimmerman were present, and submitted a plan showing a driveway off of 130th Street to the property. i'ir. Zimmerman stated that part of the operation would be on the outside of the building (sawing of wood with circular or chain saw) . The closest neighbor is 800' from the property. There was some concern expressed about the possible noise problem. Zimmerman said that the driveway would utilize a product of Philips Petroleum, where a plastic liner would be used, and the base would be laid on top of that. Mr. Zimmerman was instructed to provide the city with a more detailed description, and a written statement of the exact use, and how the business is going to be run, so that the Council may implement these in conjunction with conditions for the permit.
