3E3 APRIL 2, 1979 MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to table the request until April 16, 1979, when more information will be made available. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED UTILITY AND LAVATORY STRUCTURE PROJECT 7905 (7:30PM) Prior to the opening of the submitted bids, Mike McAllister pre- sented the City Council with personal checks from Hugo residents to cover possible cost overruns. Spitzer felt that the Lions Club or a third party shou]d be responsible for the money. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City of Hugo accept the funds from Mike McAllister for possible cost overrun in the city's proposed improvement, Project 7905. The City Clerk is directed to deposit the money in the Passbook Savings Account. All money not used will be returned prorated. The following is a list of contributors and the amount: John Kostuch - $25.00 Richard Ferraro - 310.00 Marvin LaValle - 350.00 William Barrett - 325.00 Gerald Oestreich - 325.00 Paul's Pizza - 325.00 J. Michael McAllister - 3100.00 Nadeau's Market - 3100.00 First State Bank of Hugo - 3100.00 Granger's Body` Shop - ?100.00 VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail VOTING AGAINST: Spitzer MOTION CARRIED The City Engineer proceeded to open the bids. MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to set a special Meeting of the Hugo City Council for April 9, 1979, at 7:00 PIi, for purpose of review of bids for Project 7905, and other considerations deemed ap- propriate by the Council.
