42 A 'RIL2, 1979 <br /> 6.3 Water Superintendent <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the <br /> City Clerk be directed to plane the matter of sewer <br /> utility rate adjustment on the agenda of May 7, 1979. <br /> The Water Superintendent and City Entineer are direct- <br /> ed to provide their estimates of revenue and expenses <br /> for the calendar 1979. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irdfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.4 Building Inspector <br /> Tom Crever submitted his monthly report. Crever stated that the <br /> Bogart property is not secured, and a large amount of debris and <br /> rubble is stored on the property. Crever was instructed to contact <br /> Inter-State Lumber Company stating that they have until June 1 , 1979, <br /> to resolve the problems. Crever had received a call regarding the <br /> construction of a 36 x 72 pole barn on Irish Avenue, zoned RRII. The <br /> Council determined that a Special Use Permit would be appropriate. <br /> Crever stated that John Moore had constructed a house on 148th St. , <br /> facing a nonexistent street. The house was started without a Build- <br /> ing Permit. It was determined that two variances would be needed <br /> to remedy the problem - one for construction of a house not fronting <br /> on a road, and sideyard setback. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, granting <br /> a variance to John Moore to build a principal <br /> structure such that the front of the principal <br /> building does not face an existing street. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> VOTING AGAINST: Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, granting <br /> a variance to John Moore for the construction of a <br /> building on a corner lot such that the sideyard set- <br /> back is less than the minimum requirement by no <br /> more than 6' . <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> VOTING AGAINST: Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Let the record show the reason for the variance for corner lot was <br /> construction of the house prior to application of a Building Permit, <br /> and the house substantially completed at the time of issuance of <br /> variance. <br />
