APRIL 16, 1979 <br /> $eserve Officers eon't <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, authorizing the Police Chief <br /> to purchase a shotgun, in an amount not to exceed $110.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 7.1 FOREST LAKE TOWNSHIP - COMPREHENSIVE ?LAN <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer, directing the City Clerk <br /> to notify Forest Lake Township that their Comprehensive Plan of <br /> May, 1977, and revised June, 1978, poses no objections by the City <br /> of Hugo. If any amendments to the plan are made, the city would <br /> like to be notified and be allowed to make comments. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Irafeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION CHATRPE•RSON <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to table the matter of <br /> appointing a Planning Commission Chairperson until May 9, 1979. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty and Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 9.0 Clerk <br /> The Clerk had discussed the possibility of the City-obtaining insurance with Wash- <br /> ington County for its employees. Washington County has passed a Resolution stating <br /> that the only hospitalization caverage they offer is for those employed by Washing- <br /> ton County. Insuring employees of outside communities is a closed issue. The Clerk <br /> was directed to notify Mr. Evans of this action. <br /> Councilmen Schletty and Vail have been trying to lacate a resident willing to super- <br /> vise the Summer Youth Program. LaValle stated that some guideliIas should be drawn <br /> for work to be done. <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irafeld, to extend the meeting past <br /> 11:00 PM. <br /> All aye.
